Passed away suddenly in Halifax on Friday, June 3, 2011 in her 80th Year. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Bertram (Bert) in June 1998 and her parents Olive and Thomas Rumboldt of Corner Brook. Leaving to mourn are her children Kim Moores Nicholson (Sandy, Halifax), Graham (Marlene, Kingston, Ontario) and grandchildren Natasha, Jourdan, Ericha, Caroline and William. She also leaves to mourn her sister Glida Tipton (Bill) along with many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s, on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 with visitation hours from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria’s memory to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
