Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, on May 31st, 2011, ALBERT (BERT) ROBERT HODDER, of Creston North, NL, in his 65th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Betty, sons David (Lee), Roger (Sherry), Mark (Felicia); Granddaughters Kayla & Abbie, Grandsons Joshua & Benjamin, Great Grandson Zareck; mother Eunice, brothers Stan (Maud), Fred (Karen), Sisters Judy (Jim Furlong), Mary, Michelle (Bob Fizzard), Uncle Gary Wiscombe (Rita), and Aunt Betty Wiscombe; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father Byron, Father and Mother in law, Rendall & Ada Joyce, and brother in law Perry Joyce. Rev. Hubert F. Tucker conducted the Funeral Service at Creston North United Church, Creston North, on Friday, June 03rd, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston North. In Bert’s memory, donations may be made to the Creston North United Church Cemetery Fund, Creston North. Pall bearers were Ben Hollett, George Brake, Carl Avery, Norm Walsh, Sam Mayo, and John Mayo.
