Rushton, Donna Patricia – 58, Truro passed away suddenly at home on June 5, 2011. Born in Truro on July 2, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Clara and John Chapman. Donna loved being outdoors and taking care of her flowers. She enjoyed bingo, cards, listening to Elvis’ music and playing computer games. Donna also loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Gerald Rushton; sons, Wade, Brad (Candice); grandchildren, Wade and Ashley; sisters, Gayle (Doug) McLaren, Debbie Chapman; brother, Danny Chapman; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Beverly Axiaq and brother Gerald “Jud” Cooling. No visitation by the family’s request. A private graveside service will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Londonderry. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
