Mom taught us to be satisfied with the little things in life and grateful for what we have and for the love we received and for what God has given us as a family. She loved her grandchildren, her Irish music, her flower garden, the old farm on Old Pennywell Road, and was known by our family to get a little over exuberant when watching her sons participate in a good horse race. Out of respect of Mrs. Fleming, the office of North West Taxi will be closed on Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 from 11 a.m.-12 noon. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday June 6th, and Tuesday, June 7th, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Stella’s son, Father Mick Fleming will conduct the Funeral Mass from St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Mundy Pond Road on Wednesday, June 8th, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
