Dykens, Margaret May - 87, Springhill, died Wednesday, September 2 in Gables Nursing Home, Amherst. Born in Joggins, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clara "Maude" (Card) Spence.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (James) Perry, Springhill; Betty Pederson, Amherst; sisters, Kay Graham, Florida; Helen Livingston, Shediac, NB; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930). A graveside will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 5 in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
