On June 5, 2011 Mr. Raymond McInnes passed away with his family at his side at the age of 80 years.

Ray is survived by his loving family of 51 years, Joyce McInnes, his daughter Elaine Byrne (Ken Scott) of Kamloops, his son Terry McInnes of Kamloops; six grandchildren Rachael (Jesse), Tyson, Meghan, Ashley, Kara and Kelly and four great grandchildren Andrew, Hannah, Noah and Aliea; his brother Robert (Theda) McInnes of Kamloops and sister Lucille Rhodes of Sooke, B.C.

He was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Cecilia McInnes.

Ray was born and raised in Kamloops. At the age of 21 he began his career with Canadian National Railway. His passion for the railway continued for 44 years until his retirement form Via Rail in September of 1995. Ray's biggest joy in life was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all.
