We, the family of the late Gary MacKillop, wish to express our sincere thanks to relatives, friends, and neighbours who supported us throughout Gary’s illness and during our recent loss. Thank you to those who phoned, visited, sent flowers, messages of condolences, sympathy cards, brought food, gave memorial donations, monetary gifts, and attended the funeral service. We are extremely grateful for your prayers, thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you to Rev. Alison Etter, Knox United Church choir, organist Lily Chung and everyone whose participation made this a moving service. Very special thanks to the staff and health care teams of the Glace Bay General Hospital, VON, New Waterford Homecare, Dr. Kevin Mac Neil, and family doctor, Dr. David Ley for their compassionate care. Thank you, also, to Michelle Young, Patten Funeral Home for your guidance and professionalism during this difficult time. We will be forever grateful.
