Dianne Bailey

It is with saddened hearts we, the family, announce the passing of Dianne Bailey, aged 71, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Dianne was a resident of Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney for the past 8 years. Born in Sydney Mines on February 24, 1948, she was the youngest daughter of the late William and Amelia (Childs) Bailey.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary (Norman) Mac Queen, Lilly (Stelburne) Gillan, Shirley (Russell) Bradley; brothers, George, Tommy and Cecil Bailey, and nephew, John MacQueen.
Left to mourn her loss are many nieces and nephews and their extended families, Beth (Keith) MacIsaac, Sandra Brown, Marni (Ed) Sheffield, Norma (Paul) Gale, Janie, David (Lynn) and Andrew Gillan, Susan (Bob) Craig, and Kenny (Wendy) and Valerie Bradley.
Upon request, there will be no funeral or visitation. A private committal will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. Memories and condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.fillmoreandwhitman.com.
