Passed away on May 19, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ont., Roger Edward Hillier of Newmarket, Ont. He was 63 years of age. Roger was born and raised in Grand Falls, NL. He was pre-deceased by infant twin sister, Rosalind; father, Silas. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife, Shirley (Rowsell), daughter, Renee (Mike) Downs, son, Curtis (Rosalind); grandsons, Zander & Mason Downs, and Cole Hillier.; mother, Jennie; brothers, Dave (Anne) Charl, Terry (Lil), Gordie (Diane), Colin, Rob (Lorraine), Gary; sisters, Donna (Don) McDonald, Judy (Donald) Thomas, Christine (Keith) Jenkins, Susan (Mark)Anthony; and a circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Vicki Cousins conducted funeral services at Road House & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket, Ont. on May 21, 2011.
