We, the family of the late Ethel Blakeburn would like to express our appreciation to friends, neighbors and family who provided help and support in our time of grief. To everyone who visited, brought food, cards and made donations to charities, we are sincerely grateful.
To the staff at the Northside Guest Home for their loving care, we thank you. A sincere thank you to Dr. Peter Poulos whose exemplary manner provided dignity and respect in Mom’s final months. To the staff on fifth floor of the Northside General Hospital, thank you for your care during Mom’s many admissions. To all of the friends and family who took part in the service as pallbearers, emcee, provided prayers , personal tributes and spiritual reflections, we thank you. Thank you to Evelyn Hawco for her lovely solo. To the many people who attended the service in support of our family, especially those who traveled long distances, we extend a heartfelt thank you. If I keep a green bough in my heart, the singing bird will come. The children and extended family.
