Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home on September 3, 2009, Hilda Mary Crane (nee Neal) formerly of Spaniard’s Bay and Bell Island, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Nathan, son Rendell, daughter Olive and brother Bob. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Bill, Bob (Carole); sisters Mary Morris and Ida Barrett; son-in-law Don Skanes; grandchildren Randy Crane, Rick Crane, Leslie Risbey, Cheryl Hill, Grant Crane, Paul Crane, Donna Jones, Jennifer Gray and Brian Crane; twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, also a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12, 2 to 4p.m. and 7to 9 p.m. Funeral Services Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 11 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
