The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, July 7, 2019, of Zella Boyd (nee Rattray), wife of the late Manzer Boyd, of Clinton View Lodge and formerly of Charlottetown and Juniper, N.B., aged 87. Zella was the beloved mother of Jack Boyd (Donna) and Peggy Boyd (Barry Webster). She is also survived by her granddaughter, Angela Price (Brad); step-grandsons, Greg Webster (Emily) and Jamie Webster; great-grandchildren, Emily Boyd, Jayce Price, and Eve Keirstead; and Owen, Claire and Alex Webster; sister, Muriel Parish (Milton) of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Rita Rattery and Birt Rattray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Zella was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Etta (Adams) Rattray; sisters, Louise, Iola, Hazel and Ella; and brothers, Clayton, Earl, Basil, William, Sterling and Donald. Happy are those who take life day by day, complain very little and are thankful for the little things in life. No visitation by personal request.
