Mary (Nicholson) Malley passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Clarke) Nicholson. She lived for many years on School Street in Caledonia before moving to Ontario.
Mary is survived by daughters, Susie (Dannie) Royal, Dominion, Heather (Bob) Mounce, Glace Bay; sons, Donald (Maryann) Nicholson, B.C., Brian (Dorothy) Muzzerall, Ontario, Doug (Liz), Muzzerall, Ontario, Jim Muzzerall, Glace Bay, Jerry (Merna) Muzzerall, Ontario, and Gerald Muzzerall, Ontario. She is also survived by sister, Margaret ‘Peggy’ MacPherson, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Joanne Nicholson, Glace Bay, Thelma Nicholson, Sydney; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by son, George, daughter, Donna, brothers, Donald, Thomas, George and sister, Marion.
Visitation for the late Mrs. Mary Malley will be Friday, June 10, 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service to be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Kirk Neville officiating. Interment in Black Brook Cemetery at a later date.
