The death occurred in North Rustico, on Monday, July 22, 2019 of Steven Wilbert John Gibbs, beloved husband of Terry Lee Gibbs (nee Peters) of North Rustico aged 53. Steven was born on January 9, 1966 to parents, Doris Gibbs (Alvin) and the late Grant Gibbs. He was the loving father of Travis (Chrystal) and Logan (Amy); and special Papa to Kymber. He is also survived by his sister, Roxanne Gibbs (Allan); brother, Wayne Gibbs (Lisa); father-in-law, Louis Peters; sister-in-law, Maxine Gibbs; good friend, Joey Gibbs; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides his father, Grant, Steven was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Doris Peters; brother, Barry; and many aunts and uncles. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 New Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
