Peacefully at the Garden Home on Thursday, June 9, 2011, of Gayle Howatt (nee Rayner), of Charlottetown and formerly of Regina and North Tryon, age 69 years.
She is survived by her children Randy (Debbie), Darren (Judy Burrows), Betty (Jim) Ferguson, Kevin, and Heather Lewis; grandchildren Danielle, Brad, EmilyAnne, Megan, Tyler, Jimmy, Tara and Melissa; great-grandchildren Amani, Brooklynn and Madison; brothers, Ronnie (Carol) Rayner and Eddie (Donna) Rayner. She was predeceased by her parents Weston and Helen (Clark) Rayner, her husband James "Jimmy" Howatt, and sisters Elaine Thomson, Sandra Simms, Carol Casey and Dianne Dawson.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where a private memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment later in North Tryon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gayle’s memory may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
