It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Clarence Blanchard announce his passing at the O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook, on Friday September 4th 2009 in his 68th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings: Elizabeth (Francis Gale) of Hampden, Mrs. Mary Blanchard of Beaches, White Bay, & John (Ruby) of Wabush, Labrador. Edgar was predeceased by his parents, Leander & Lilly Blanchard and his brother-in-law, Abraham Blanchard; also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Hampden on Sunday September 6th 2009 from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, from where the funeral service will take place on Monday September 7th 2009, at 2:00 pm, Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in the Beaches, White Bay.
