The death occurred at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, of Alexander Lefurgey, of Belmont, Lot 16, aged 76 years. Born in Montreal, QC, he was the son of the late Alexander and Lucy (Todd) Lefurgey. Survived by his wife, Lillian (McCrady) Lefurgey, children, Diane Lefurgey, Vancouver, B.C., Brian (Bob Paris), Victoria, BC; Doug, Belmont. Beverley Lefurgey, Ellerslie, seven grandchildren, and sisters, Nellie (Burt) Barnes, Vancouver, B.C., Yvonne (Mike) Houghton, Kildare, and Lorraine Miller, Toronto, Ont. Predeceased by a brother-in-law, John Miller. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to the Central Lot 16 United Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Central Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday from 6-8 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
