MARSHALL, MELVIN - The death of Melvin Prosper Marshall of Saint John East occurred on Friday, June 10, 2011 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 13, 1940 in Saint John he was the son of Doris (Guimond) and the late Frank Marshall. Besides his mother he is survived by his loving daughter Tammie Marshall and grandson Aidan Cushing of Plano, Texas; brothers Frank “Buddy” (Anne Marie), Walter (Judy), Allan (Lucy) and Gregory (Kathleen) all of Saint John; sister-in-law Debbie Marshall of Sussex; special nephew Bradley Marshall of Saint John; special nieces Belinda Marshall of Toronto, ON and Christina Marshall of Saint John. Besides his father Frank he was predeceased by his brother Lorne Marshall and first wife and best friend Brenda Jarvis.

Saint John (646-2424) with visiting hours on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
