September 2, 1938 – September 4, 2009. Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2009, Winnie Critch of Cavendish, aged 71 years. She is predeceased by her parents; Myra and Arthur, sons; Paul and Darrin, and grandson, Christian , brother Reg and sister, Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn are her loving husband, Hedley, sons; Donnie (Cathy), Tony (Juanita), Neil (Kim), Keith, Bob (Rose) and her daughter, Millicent (Howie), 18 grandchildren, and 8 great- grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by sisters; Florence, Edna and Cherry, brothers; Colin, Art and Harold, as well as a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Cavendish United Church on Saturday, Sept. 5th, from 2:00 pm until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the United Church, Cavendish on Monday, September 6th. at 2pm. Interment to follow at Cavendish United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Winnie’s memory may be made to the Winnie Critch Memorial Fund.
