Roland Victor Joseph Bruneau passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital with his loving wife Ann, children and stepchildren by his side. Roland lived his life to the fullest enjoying many activities and past times with his wife. He loved going for walks, playing cards, picking berries, fishing, bowling, dancing and tending to a well manicured yard. Roland is survived by his wife Ann; his children Juliette McCoy, Robert Bruneau (Mary Anne), Estelle Bremner (Harold); his stepchildren Valerie Locke (Richard), Susan Dafoe (Lorne); his daughter-in-law Gene Nagel (Armond); his brothers, sisters and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Armond Bruneau; his parents Aristide and Marie Rose (nee Forest) Bruneau; his stepmother Rose (nee Sevigny) Bruneau. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 7 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Father Cliff Tremblay officiated. Interment took place in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
