At Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, June 12, 2010 of Kevin John Kilbride of Foxley River aged 87 years, loving husband of Laura (Ellsworth A’Hearn) Kilbride. Born in Foxley River on March 5, 1924, son of the late Laughlin and Jean (Murphy) Kilbride. Step father of Gary (Shirley) A’Hearn, Sherwood, AB; Gail (David) MacDonald, St. Theresa; Emmett (Sherry) A’Hearn, Halifax, NS; Paula (Rod) Matheson, O’Leary; Jimmy (Ida) A’Hearn, Summerside; Nancy (Rod) Costain, St. Roch; Sally (Tom) Costain; Belmont; John (Gail) A’Hearn, St. Roch; and Holly A’Hearn (Jason Gray), Summerside. Step grandfather of 23 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brother of Everett (Yvonne), Toronto, ON; Bert (Carmel), NB; and Yvonne Kilbride, Boston, Mass. Brother in Law of Peter (Bertha) Ellsworth, Nail Pond. Predeceased by his parents; brothers Leonard and Gerald; sisters Anita in infancy, Bernetta and Sister Kathleen as well as his previous wife Margaret (Campbell). Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 1:45 p.m., then to St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church, Foxley River, Lot 11 for Funeral Mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the St Brigid’s Parish Cemetery. Memorials to St. Brigid’s Parish Cemetery or the Summerset Manor will be greatly appreciated.
