The death occurred at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, NB, after a courageous battle with her illness, on Saturday, September 5, 2009, of Colleen Yeo, of Chestnut Avenue, Summerside, aged 47 years. Born in Etobicoke, ON, she was the daughter of Mae (Bud) MacDonald, Stratford, and the late Harold Waite. Survived by her husband Peter Yeo; son Jamie, Halifax, NS; brothers and sisters Cheryl (Jack) Devine, Charlottetown; Alfred (Karen) Waite, Halifax, NS; Lana Waite (Brian), Calgary, AB; Harold Waite, Halifax, NS; Cathy (Greg) Sanderson, Olds, AB; father-in-law Larry (and the late Opie) Yeo, Summerside; brother-in-law Paul (Pat) Yeo, Calgary, AB; numerous nieces and nephews; and by her two special little dogs Bandit and Sassy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Central Lot 16 United Church, for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will later take place in the Lot 16 Methodist Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
