Dexter, Florence Letitia (nee Pace) - 92 of Milton, Queens County passed away peacefully at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool. Born in Little Liscomb, Guysborough County she was the daughter of the late James and Maude Pace (nee Pye). She was a mother of six children and of a broad and extended family for whom she cared. She had many careers as a chef, nurse, employment counselor, baker, and educator, to name but a few, all accredited from the only institution that mattered - her family. She is survived by her children Freda Norman (Jim), Gertrude Waters (Bob Howard), Alan Dexter, Darrell Dexter (Kelly Wilson), Gail Feeney (Kevin) and Richard Dexter (Charmaine). She is also survived by her step son Dennis Mackie (Katherine), sister Lena Hawes and brothers Cecil and Lee Fralic; As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Elvin Dexter and sisters Effie Pace, Goldie Barkhouse, Ida Misener and Hilda Cross as well as her brother Ross Fralic and step brother Daniel Pace. Visitation was held on Friday, June 10th and a Memorial Service was held on Saturday, June 11th, with both from Chandler's Funeral Home, Liverpool.
