Henry “Neil” Anderson - 82, of Brow Mountain Road, Kings County, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at home. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was the only child of the late Robert and Gladys (Jacobs) Anderson. He was a longtime resident of St. Lambert, Quebec, where he had been employed as a Chartered Accountant. He worked for PetroFina and later Petro-Canada at the senior management level, where he was the head of Divisional Accounting. Together with his family he retired to the Annapolis Valley and settled on the Centreville Mountain. He had a love for serious music, books and model cars. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Bailey); a son, Ian, Port Williams and a daughter, Ruth Chapdelaine, Quebec. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Reverend Randy Crozsman officiating. Burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to Rotary International - Polio Plus Program.
