STEWART, DOROTHY (DOLLY) MAUDE (nee DEAN) - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dolly Stewart, age 88, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Fredericton, New Brunswick, and Shoebury, Essex, England, announces her passing on April 18, 2011 at The Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dolly was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Wilkinson) Dean of Shoebury, Essex, England. She is survived by sons Michael (Mona) Bonavista Bay, NFLD, Bobby (Jeanne) Hubbards, NS, Jimmy (Helen) Lower Sackville, NS, Ronnie (Gail) Vancouver, BC, daughter Marlene Currie, Fredericton, NB, sister Betty, Shoebury, Essex, England and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by husband Otis, son David, sister Lena Dean and brothers Fred Dean, Frank Dean and Bob Dean.
She was a true lady and is sadly missed.
Dolly will be laid to rest with Otis at 11am, June 16 at The Fredericton Rural Cemetery. There will be a graveside service with Rev. Dr. Norman Whitney officiating. A celebration of her life will follow.
