Loving father and husband Paul Joseph Clarke, born March 24th 1935 in Lt. St. Lawrence, passed away peacefully, as he had lived, on June 6, 2011. Leaving to cherish his memory and celebrate his life are his wife and best friend of 54 years Mercedes (nee Roul); children Annette (Glen Tilley); Paul (Julie Windebank); Bill (Cindy); Lisa; Colin (Toby Rowe) and Linda (Joseph Colbourne); grandchildren Sam, Caitlin, Bridget, Megan, Luke, Rowan, Phoebe and Jack; sisters Mary (Bob Antle); Rose (Jean Rivard deceased); Catherine (Jim Fowler); brothers Don (Mary) Cyril (Shirley) and Gary (Edith); brothers-in-law Bill Roul (Eileen) Freeman Roul (Esther) Robert Roul (Geri); sisters-in-law Laura (Cyril Flannigan) Eileen (Carl Walsh) Ellen (Jim Rogers) Madeline (Ted Edwards) Sue (Andy Tarrant) Kathy Roul (Mario Jarvis). Predeceased by his parents Joe and Priscella; father and mother-in-law Ed and Kathleen Roul; brothers Ignatius and Walter; son Barry; and sister and brother-in-law Anna Mary and Ernest Drake. Also leaving a large number of other relatives and lifelong friends to hold the memory of this kind, gentle, fair, hard-working and fun-loving man. Father Edward Raj officiated Mass of Christian burial from St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Thursday, June 9th at 2PM. Internment at Mount Cecelia Cemetery in St. Lawrence.
