Passed away suddenly on June 10th 2011 Melvin Gillingham age 53 years. Predeceased by mother Rose. Left with loving memories are his father Raymond, common-law partner Catherine Aylward of Gander, step sons Brad and Brian, step daughters Karen and Cindy, brothers Marvin (Bernice), Raymond (Vivian), Bruce (Susanne), sisters Jeanette (Leonard), Brada (Gary), Bonnie (David), Donna (Calvin), Donella (Clyde), special friend Victoria Fitzgerald (who was like a daughter). Also a large circle of family and friends. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 15th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Michael's & All Angels Anglican Church, Pollards Point. Interment Anglican Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations in Melvin’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Clinic, Gander Unit. Melvin was an Orthopedic Technologist at the James Paton Memorial Health Center for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing (real outdoor lover), Music was a new love (DJ & playing Guitar), He was known for his great love for children, sense of humor and his smile. Melvin loved having fun and laughing.
