Jennifer Boone (nee Atkinson) passed away peacefully on June 12 2011 after a brave battle with brain cancer. When Jennifer was not busy keeping everyoneelse organized, she could be found caring for her home or her pets, or riding on the back of her Harley. Often “sassing” her way through a conversation, Jennifer brought many smiles to the lives of those she touched. She was the loving wife of Richard, Truemanville. She will also be sadly missed by her parents Joyce and Aubrey, Truemanville; brothers Roger(Rose), Truemanville and Michael(Leanne Carter), Amherst; sisters Sandra(Chris), Gulf Shore and Shannon(Josh) Littlefield, Camden, South Carolina; several nieces, nephew sand godchildren; and her many friends from the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Armoured Regiment.
Visitation will take place between two and four o’clock pm, and between seven and nine o’clock pm on Wednesday June 15 2011 at Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral services will be held at Furlong-Jones FuneralHome at two o’clock pm on Thursday June 16 2011, with interment to follow thereafter at Truemanville cemetery. There will be a reception following the interment at the Truemanville Community Center.
Donations to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, or to the Truemanville Cemetary Society, or flowers as preferred.
