Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Obadiah (Obe) Spurrell of Little Hearts Ease, aged 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Victoria Spurrell; infant sister Irene. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Selena of 44 years; daughters Denise Jacobs (Cluney) and Corinne Whalen (Barry); son Edison; sister Marina (Roland Smith), Norma (late Art Critch) and Annie (Worick Smith); brothers Tom (Doris) and Harold (Linda); grandchildren Brent Marsh and Cassandra Jacobs and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral service took place on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Little Hearts Ease with interment at Salvation Army Cemetery, Little Hearts Ease.
