LeBLANC, BERNADETTE - Bernadette LeBlanc, 73, wife of Françis J. LeBlanc formerly of Cap Pelé passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac following a lengthy illness. Born September 13, 1937 in Cap Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Tilmon and Alma (LeBlanc) Cormier. She worked at Lockwood for over 21 years prior to her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Françis, two sons: Victor (Anise) of Cap Pelé and Donald (Renée) of St. Philippe and five grandchildren: Chanèle, Josée, Joline, Meghan and Logan. She is also survived by eight sisters: Léona Gallant (Alphée), Claira Landry (late Jean-Baptiste), Amanda Dupuis (Normand), Albertine Albert (Alphonse), Huberte Thibodeau (Émile), Émilia Duguay (Ulysse), Elda Jones (Donald) and Majella Doiron (Rhéal);two brothers: Charles-Omer (Bernice)and Norbert Cormier; two sisters-in-law: Hélène Cormier and Loretta Cormier and by many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by two brothers and one sister, Noëlla Hickey, Ernest and Roméo.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours: Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:20 a.m.). Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
