Sharbell
At the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary on Wednesday June 15, 2011 of Ruby Rosella Sharbell, of Portage, aged 81 years, wife of the late J. Edward Sharbell. Born in Grand River on Sept. 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Marion (nee Gastringer) Curley. Cherished mother of Colleen, Blake, both of Charlottetown; Linda, Portage; Christine (Kevin) Smith, Charlottetown, Larry, Kugluktuk, NWT and Edward Jr. (Christine Richie), Portage. Loving grandmother to Amanda and Elizabeth Smith, Kathleen, Angela and Laura Sharbell, Ronald Enman, also, great granddaughter Samantha Enman. Ruby is also survived by son in law Ralph Enman, Summerside; daughter in law Michele, Truro, N.S; brother Frank (Carol) Curley, Wellington and sister Esther McNeill, Dartmouth, NS. Ruby will be sadly missed by her dog, Sharbella. Predeceased by husband, parents, son Dale, daughter Marilyn, son Michael (infancy), brothers Philip, Emmett, Jimmy and Desmond Curley, sisters Eileen Bell, Theresa MacNeill and Florence Anderson. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until Saturday until 12:45 p.m., then to St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church, Foxley River, Lot 11, for Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment following in the St. Brigid's Parish Cemetery. Memorials to St. Brigid's Parish Cemetery would be appreciated.
