Passed peacefully away on June 13, 2011 at the Hoyles Homes, Dorothy Joyce Samuelson-Roberts, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald P. Samuelson (1982). Leaving to mourn her two sons Keith (Maureen) and Karl (Amanda); her current spouse Gordon Roberts; grandchildren Claire and Alan; siblings Robert, Gertrude, Julia and Arthur. Joyce lived a happy, active and full life. She devoted herself to her loving family and gave selflessly to the community for example the Feildian Ladies, Anglican Church Women and Royal Order of Purple. Joyce’s outgoing personality and kind heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
