TOTTEN, MARLENE ANNA-BELLE - The death of Marlene Totten, of Barnesville, wife of Lorne Totten, occurred Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Clifford and Kathleen (Ellis) Godsoe. Marlene was a member of Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved flowers and animals. Marlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and going fishing. She is survived by her husband, Lorne; one step-daughter, Sharon Isbill, Midland; daughter-in-law, Karen Totten, Barnesville; seven sisters, Marie Verner, St. Martins, Eileen Palladina, Saint John, Rose Denton, Quispamsis, Evelyn Gaudet, Saint John, Dawn Cougle, Saint John, June and Grace, USA; two brothers, Clifford Godson (Louise), Kingston, and Lawrence Verner, AB; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces ands nephews. Marlene was predeceased by one son, Robert Jonah; one step-son, Melvin Totten; one son-in-law, Bob Isbill; and one sister Margaret.
Visitation will take place Sunday 3 to 8pm at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held 11:00am, Monday, June 20, 2011 at Reid’s Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service, at the Lighthouse River Centre, Hampton. Interment will be in Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery at a later date.
