
Olive Arseneault
It is with great sadness that the family of Olive Winnie Arsenault age 90 of Amherst announce her passing on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at home.
Born in Stillesville, New Brunswick she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Rogers) Wilson.
In Olive’s younger years she worked at the CN Station lunch counter in Moncton, NB.
She was a stay at home Mom for many years and later enjoyed doing the mail run with her son Ricky.
Olive enjoyed her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Carol (Bruce) Hunter of Amherst, her six sons Andy (Lillian), Robert (Darlene) and Ricky all of Amherst, David (Nancy) of Oxford, Fred (Lindy) of Springhill and George (Darlene) of Oklahoma, USA, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, two sisters Minnie Hyslop of Moncton and Evelyn Williamson of Toronto, daughters in law Debbie and Carol Arsenault and Sandra Parsons and several nieces and nephews.
Olive was predeceased by her husband, Stephen, sisters Lily and Eunice and brothers Bud, Ted, Ronnie and Lorne.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Campbell’s Chapel with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating.
Interment will take place in the Amherst Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Olive’s memory may be made to the VON or charity of your choice.
