Passed away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, Hazel Janes, age 72 years of St. John’s. Hazel was born on April 6, 1939 in Whitley Bay, England, to Jack and Lillie Shearing. Hazel had a great love of animals and enjoyed gardening and reading. Hazel is survived by her husband Lloyd and their children Christopher (Belinda), Cheryl (Heather), Michael (Elaina) and her grandchildren: Devron, Stephen, Alicia, Brian, Ashley, Justin, Sarah, Keana, Vanessa and great-grandchild Annalynne, also many other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents and oldest daughter Carol. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18th, 2011.
