McINNIS, RUTH - 1927 - 2011 - On June 16, 2011 in Moncton, NB on a beautiful sunny afternoon, Ruth (MacDermid) McInnis, 84 passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughters Nancy McInnis (Robert) Leek and Lorna MacInnis (Al Pickston). Ruth lived an active life being involved in her community. She was a woman of many talents, full of wisdom and love. Ruth touched the lives of everyone she met and her sage advice and support will be missed by all including her granddaughters Allison Carkner (Matt), Jessica Leek, Katherine Leek, Alyssa Pickston, her great granddaughter, Jayden Leek as well as nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband William, son David, sisters Ethel MacDonald, Marion Doherty and her brother Kenneth MacDermid. In respect with Ruth’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
