LITTLE, MARIAM L. - Mariam L. Little, 94, of the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formerly of Clairville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Born in Birch Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Annie (Brace) Steeves. Mariam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and former Postmistress in Clairville. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, member of the church Ladies Aid and the Clairville Women’s Institute. Mariam enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, hand work, drives in the country and socializing with her family and friends. Mariam will be sadly missed by her children, Stuart (Gloria), Wasaga Beach, ON; Gerald (Janice), Clairville, Marilyn Lerette (Peter), Sackville; grandchildren, Michelle (Chris), Rebecca (Matt), Cody, Larry (Marlene), Dan (Pam), Heidi (Randy), Amie (Daniel); great grandchildren, Carlee, Hannah, Lauren, Taylor, Graden, Kalmit, Blake, Gracen, Tiare, Kaleb, Leaf, Keagan; brothers, Harold Steeves (Freda), Raymond Steeves (Caroline), both of Moncton; sister-in-law, Flora Beers (Warren), Beersville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence (Lornie) W. Little (August 2008) and her brother, Delbert.
