(Wowie) Passed peacefully away at her residence on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, Florrie E. Garland (nee Snow), age 94. Predeceased by her husband John (1958); her brothers: Stan, Edward, Gordon, Leslie, Gerald and sisters: Ella and Mary. Leaving to mourn her son Eugene (Eileen) with whom she resided; her beloved grandsons: John (Cindy), Gary (Elaine), Scott (Donna), Charles (Roseann); great-grandchildren: Billy, Stacey, Thomas, Stephanie, C.J., Keri-Lynn, Robyn, Renee and their mother Bonnie Goss. Special card buddies: Bonnie, Sally and Carol; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her four legged bed buddy Teddy. Mrs. Garland worked with Jack and Jill Home Care Services for 17 years. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 12 noon - p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and then on Saturday from 12 noon - 2 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
