Passed away at his residence in Point May on Saturday, June 11th, 2011, Gordon T. Strickland, age 65 years. Predeceased by mother and father, Catherine and Henry Strickland; brother, Richard Strickland and sister, Ellen Strickland. Leaving to mourn: Wife, Mary; sons, Gordon Strickland(Jr), Richard Strickland(Beauleh); daughters, Sheila Strickland(partner Junior), Susan Strickland(partner Glen),Sandra Brockerville(Shawn); grandsons, David Fitzpatrick, Steven Brockerville, Jordon Strickland, Luke Strickland and Leonard Hodge, granddaughters, Samantha Brockerville, Melissa Strickland, Megan Hodge and Ashley Hodge; brothers, Albert Strickland, Henry Strickland(Nancy) and Joseph Strickland. Also circle of other relatives and friends.Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Edward Raj, from The Most Holy Rosary Church, Point May at 10am on Wednesday, June 15th. Interment followed at The Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Point May. Pall Bearers were: David Fitzpatrick, Junior Strickland, Glen Hodge, Shawn Brockerville, Joseph Strickland and Junior Hillier. Cross Bearer was Richard Strickland. Donations in his memory may be made to the Strickland Family.
