It is with great sadness that the family of the late TRYPHENA SUSANN HODDER of St. Bernards announces her passing at Hoyles Escasoni Complex in St. John’s on Tuesday June 14, 2011 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons William (Joan) of Alberta, Tom (Theresa) of Labrador City, Bernard (Geraldine) of Labrador City, and Gerard (Gloria) of St. Bernards; Daughters Monnie Hynes (Jack) of St. Bernards, Regina Wunsch (Lowell) of Alberta, Frances Pike (Wilfred) of Labrador City, and Linda Walsh (Wayne) of Little Bay; Sister Emily Ashford (Tommy Keigan) of North Sydney; 27 Grandchildren; 36 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Henry, Son Edward, Parents William & Elizabeth Ashford, Brothers John, Arthur, and George, Sisters Melita Skinner and Ernestine Noseworthy, Granddaughter Mary and Great-Grandsons Henry and William. Funeral Mass took place on Saturday June 18, 2011 at 1:00pm from Sacred Heart RC Church in St. Bernards. Interment followed at the R.C. Cemetery in St. Bernards. In Tryphena’s memory, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart RC Church in St. Bernards or flowers gratefully accepted.
