Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on his 71st birthday Saturday, June 18, 2011 of Robert Ernest Finch of Summerside , P.E.I.. Bob was born on June 18, 1940 in North Bay, Ont., to his late parents William and Bessie (nee Breary) Finch. Beloved partner of Shirley Allen and loving father of Marty (Cathy Turple) of N.S., Rob (Tara) of Ottawa, Ont., Jason (Michelle) of Alberta and their mother Thelma Gaudet of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother and sisters Donna (Ron) Dickie, Peter (Carole) Finch and Helen (David) Leslie all of Ontario. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, June 23, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
