MEADE, JEAN ELIZABETH - The passing of Jean Elizabeth Meade of Scotch Settlement, NB occurred Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Millville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mac and Elizabeth Meade. Jean loved attending dances at the Fredericton Legion and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful life partner, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her life partner Roy MacDonald; a son Charlie MacDonald of Scotch Settlement; grandson Ethan MacDonald of Winnipeg, MB; two sisters Marguerite Thornton (Arden) of Temperance Vale and Joan Blaney (Bill) of Millville, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two special friends who will miss her dearly, Brenda Melanson and Kathy Munn; a very special neighbor Lydia Harrison.
