George “Butch” Stoliar
We, the family of the late Butch Stoliar, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our relatives, neighbors and friends for their kindness and support during our recent bereavement. To all those who sent sympathy cards, memorials, floral tributes, e-mails, phoned, visited and sent food to our home a sincere thank you. To the many people who have showered Butch with your prayers during his illness we cannot thank you enough. A special thank you to Dr. Shaaban, Dr. Sousou and staff at the Glace Bay Hospital and palliative care for their kindness, care and patience during Butch’s illness. To EHS for their quick response and special care during Butch’s many trips to the ER, we thank you. Kenny McGillivray and staff of McGillivray Funeral Home, thank you for your care and understanding at such a difficult time. Many thanks to Rev. Vernon Reid and Rev. Judi Phillips for the touching eulogy, also the pallbearers, Judy Stoliar for the readings, the hymns by St. Mary’s choir and organist John Howie, which was all arranged so beautifully by Rev. Judi Phillips making it a prayerful and personal funeral service we shall never forget nor thank you enough. A sincere thank you to the St. Mary’s ladies for making and serving lunch. To all those who helped in so many ways, your kindness will always be remembered.
