CHAPMAN (TAM), Ryan Peter - 20, Truro. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ryan. We lost our angel to God’s arms on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Ryan was born in Truro on August 29, 1990, and raised by his family - parents, Tina and Mike; grandparents, Leona, Peter, Shirley and Wayne. He was a spirited soul, had a caring nature and will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives he touched. He had a mischievous sense of humor coupled with an inner kindness that could be seen by the twinkle in his eye. He graduated from C.E.C. in 2009, held a black belt in Taekwondo and spent many years working at his family’s restaurant. He had a love of food and enjoyed making creations in the kitchen, liked watching a good movie and making people laugh. He had an interest in drawing and was very talented and artistic and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Tina Chapman and Mike Elliott; grandparents, Peter and Leona Tam, Truro; Wayne and Shirley Elliott, Brookfield; brother, Mitchell; sisters, Marissa, Miranda; his “broski”, Jordan; best friend, Cavell; biological father, Leo Tanner and sister, Taylor; biological grandfather, Robert Bartlett; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his great uncle, Harold James “Ducky” Frizzell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where visitation will be held from 2-4, 7-9 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011, and where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2011, Reverend Larry Harrison officiating. Reception will follow. Interment in Robie Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ryan’s memory to SPCA (Colchester Branch) are welcomed.
