COOK, Sarah Frances (nee Parrott) - It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Sarah Frances Cook, age 86, from St. John’s and Hickman’s Harbour, at the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, November 14, 2008. Predeceased by parents Samuel and Mary Belle, son Lloyd; brothers Stephen, William, Samuel; and sisters, Elizabeth, Naomi, Norma. leaving to mourn are her husband of 68 precious years Maxwell; son James (Marie); daughter Linda Cook; granddaughter Lisa (Jason Cherry); grandson Andrew (Penney); great-grandson Tyler, brother Gilbert; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour. Funeral service to take place on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, Hickman’s Harbour with interment following.
