Brianna Nicole Benoit, 11, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009.
Born in Dartmouth, she was the daughter of Robert Benoit and Sandy Barron Benoit.
She is survived by her best friend and brother, Trevor Benoit; grandparents in Ingonish, Micky and Carolyn Barron; grandparents from Newfoundland, Alphonsus and Alma Benoit; uncles and aunts from Cape Breton, Jim and Melanda Barron, Michael and Nancy Barron, Greg and Allison Barron, Ronnie and Mary Barron, Rickey and Ashley Barron, Chris and Rebecca Barron. Her uncles and aunts from Newfoundland, Sheila and Vince Young, April and Gordon Wheeler, Edgar and Aliusha Benoit, Edmond and Monica Benoit, Octave, Joanne, Petrina and Donna Benoit. Also by many nieces and nephews, all who were very special to her.
Brianna was a special angel who loved everyone and would put a smile on your face. Brianna’s greatest love was to be cuddled. She loved her toys, she loved to swim and play in her pool. She also loved playing with her buddy Hailey. A special thank you to Janet Johnston.
Visitation was held Thursday at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, North Ingonish from 2-5 p.m. Funeral mass is being celebrated today (Friday) at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, Ingonish, with Rev. Dan MacDonald officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery.
