LAMBERT, Christine (nee Vere-Holloway) - Passed peacefully away at the age of 62 on Saturday, November 15, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Nora Vere-Holloway, sister Ada Snook, sisters-in-law Lillian Hunt and Irene Lambert, brothers-in-law Philip Foley Sr. and Douglas Hunt. Leaving to mourn her dear loving husband of 42 years Clarence, two daughters Karen Tilley (Brendan), Sherry Hartery (Dermott), only son, her pride and joy, Clarence Jr. and precious grandchild Brandon. Also leaving with fond and loving memories are Christine’s four sisters Pearl Foley, Mary Kirby (Edward), Ruby Dodd (Edward), Judy Vere-Holloway (Clifford), three brothers Nelson Vere-Holloway (Bernice), Winston Vere-Holloway (Alice) and Gary Vere-Holloway (Lucinda), three sisters-in-law Marie Quirke (Michael) Bertha Fitzpatrick (David), Evelyn Hunt and three brothers-in-law George Lambert, James Snook (Mary) and Maurice Hunt, extended family Jack Robinson and Mike Heffernan, and special life-long friend Lorraine Smith (nee Strickland), as well as, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Cornwall Crescent on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations maybe made in Christine’s memory to the Dr. H.
