Thomas "Tom" O'Brien
O’BRIEN, THOMAS “TOM” - Thomas “Tom” O’Brien, 67, of Grande-Digue and formerly of Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Frank and Lillian (O’Brien) Breau. Tom was formerly employed for over 20 years with AI Enterprises and was a driver for White Cab. He was a former member of the Air Force Veterans Club and the 31 Club. Tom enjoyed reading, spending time at the family cottage, scuba diving, listing to music (Elton John), was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. Tom will be sadly missed by his wife of over 44 years, Simonne “Sam” (Poirier) O’Brien; loving daughter, Sandy Dowe (Dale Johnson), Fredericton; precious grandchildren, Emily, Brittany, Michael and Katelyn; several cousins and many friends.
Sharing of Memories and Celebration of Life for Tom to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
