Wilma Ellen Hicks, aged 67 years of Mortlach, SK, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 27th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. She was predeceased by her father, George Brewer; mother, Nellie Brewer and sister, Stella Smith. Wilma will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lloyd; children, Leah (Eric) Ortiz and Troy (Nicole); granddaughters, Ebony, Maya, Sienna and Brynn Ortiz; brother, Lawrence Brewer; as well as numerous other family and friends. Wilma was a homemaker and was very involved with the Mortlach community. She was also involved with the Mortlach United Church, Sunday School, U.C.W. and choir, and was also a member of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilma’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.
