Passed peacefully away at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home on Thursday, September 10, 2009, Emma Button, aged 87 years. Predeceased by loving husband Clarence and brother Ted. Leaving to celebrate her wonderful life are her sister Rose Nicholle; her loving children: Clarence (Catherine), John (Carol), Susan Walsh (Peter Stevenson), Cheryl Herst (Jordon) and Peggy O’Keefe (Craig); grandchildren: Amanda and Allison Walsh, Jennifer and Nicholas Button, Christopher and Caitlin Button, Zachary and Joshua O\'Keefe, Matthew and Sarah Herst, as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, Sept. 13th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from St. James United Church on Monday, Sept. 14th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
